Player Issues – While there are a couple of player complaints at other portals that have gone without a response, our dealings with the NetPlay group have been very positive when it’s come to player complaints.

The NetPlay Affiliates properties carry a Predatory term related to the payment of Progressive Jackpots. The term limits payments to £20000k/month or offers the alternative of “selecting a reduced lump sum amount based on the present value of the future payments”. These properties offer jackpots that have been known to reach of £5000000. To receive the full jackpot amount would take over 20 years. In other words these terms create a situation where the player is put under unreasonable pressure to accept a reduced payment, despite the fact that the operator will have received full payment of the jackpot from the network.

Affiliate Issues – We are aware of no unresolved affiliate issues at any major affiliate portals.

Conclusion

The NetPlay Affiliates properties are responsive and cooperative with the few player complaints that we have had come in. However their payment limitations on progressive jackpots are entirely unacceptable and to our mind amount to misrepresentation of the true value of the jackpot.

As far as affiliates go, the NetPlay Affiliates program has no notable complaints we are aware of, however they carry a couple of terms that affiliates should take into consideration before promoting them:

• Negative Carryover policies – if your players have a win large enough to create a significant negative balance for you, this creates a situation where you no longer have any incentive to carry on marketing the program’s brands. This leads to a short-term mind set to working relationship between the affiliate and the program.

• Minimum activity quota – this program stipulates the right to close your account if you don’t send at least one player every 60 days. This could be a significant risk to any small affiliate or larger affiliate that isn’t looking to give this program premium placement on a permanent basis.

Between terms that are bad for players and terms that are bad for affiliates, we simply cannot recommend that affiliates work with this program.
