Minimum Activity Quota – Yes, see below;

“In order to be entitled to the Revenue Share based on Net Revenue, all Affiliates are required to generate not less than three (3) minimum Affiliate Players in any rolling 6-month period. In the event that an Affiliate does not generate at least three such Affiliate Players, such Affiliate’s entitlement shall drop to 10% of all applicable Net Revenue for such Affiliate Players. In the event that the Affiliate later exceeds the minimum Affiliate Players requirement, as of the date of Affiliates re-instatement, the Affiliate shall be entitled to the percentages based on Net Revenue for future Net Revenue generated by such Affiliate Players. Affiliate shall not be entitled to the percentages retrospectively, notwithstanding their reinstatement.”

The minimum revenue rate offered by Betting Partners (10%) is beneath the level which we consider sustainable within a business relationship (15%) and as such this term is considered a Minimum Activity Quota.

Conclusion

While the Betting Partner properties have a very good reputation with players and there are no significant affiliate complaints, Betting Partner Affiliates carry some substantially negative terms and conditions that should give all affiliates considering them pause for thought.

A summary of the issues:

• Negative Carryover policies – if your players have a win large enough to create a significant negative balance for you, this creates a situation where you no longer have any incentive to carry on marketing the program’s brands. This leads to a short-term mind set to working relationship between the affiliate and the program.

• Minimum Activity Quota – if you do not manage to send at least 3 NDP every 6 months your revenue share drops to 10%. This potentially carries significant consequences for your ability to earn with this program if you are a small affiliate or do not wish to push them as one of your main brands. It also carries the same consequences for the players that you’ve already sent if you choose to reduce the exposure these venues receive.

• A very high minimum withdrawal.

All in all – in our opinion – the above terms are significantly detrimental enough to affiliates that they could have a marked impact on your ability to make money. As with all programs that carry a Minimum Activity Quota, we don’t recommend affiliates work with Betting Partners.
