Program Reputation
Player Issues – Lapalingo Casino operate on the Danguad license. Operators associated with this license have been repeatedly associated with highly questionable activities, including changing terms after player wins to justify non-payment, claiming that a player exceeded the maximum allowed bet in a manner that was physically impossible, accepting wagers from a jurisdiction they could not pay out winnings to and sending abusive communications to this service.
That this license holder not only seem to provide no oversight into their licensees activities, but seems to attract operators that are prepared to engage in these types of activities leaves us with no option other than to view any operator associated with this license as high risk for players.
For references see – http://thepogg.com/casino-review/casino-reviews-appendix/#Danguad_Group.
Affiliate Issues – We are not aware of any unresolved affiliate issues with Lapalingo Affiliates.
Conclusion
With a mind toward players the fact that Lapalingo is tied to the Danguad Limited license is a big red flag for us. This is mitigated somewhat by the fact that the group appears to have its own MGA license but should still be considered.
Moving on to their affiliate terms, unfortunately the picture doesn’t get any prettier. A summary of the issues is included below:
– A Minimum Activity Quota – this means that once you send players to this program, you are then handcuffed to continuing to promote the operator if you want to receive the full value for your historic referrals. The more players you send the more significant the loss if you ever need to drop this partner.
– No definition of what happens with negative balances at the end of the month. Whether negative balances are zeroed or carried forward makes a significant different to how much an affiliate can expect to earn with a partner.
– Missing significant payment information, like dates, thresholds and methods. This is not as serious as negative balances but still represents important information that the affiliate needs to be aware of.
