Notes
Affiliates should be aware of the following term:
“9.7. Handling of negative publicity. Upon notice of any negative publicity concerning the Company, or the Company’s owner(s), which Casinofiliates management believes can damage the reputation of Casinofiliates, Sirrius Venture Capital Ltd. and its brands, Casinofiliates has the right to terminate the Agreement immediately.”
For any affiliate assisting with the management of player complaints this term could prove significantly problematic. The operator can take action that is clearly negative in nature (for instance refusing to pay a player that should be paid), but if the affiliate then publishes anything about this they could face closure of their account and loss of the revenue that they are due for their historic referrals.
Conclusion
While the rest of the affiliate terms and conditions offered by Casinofiliates are reasonable, the gagging clause they’ve build in regarding negative publicity is something that we cannot support. Not Recommended.
