Terms and Conditions

Minimum Activity Quota – Yes, see below;

“7.9 The Company reserves the right to set limits for a minimum level of activity on Affiliate’s accounts. Such minimum activity levels will be continuously reviewed and the Company reserves the right to terminate any agreement not reaching the limit. Such limit shall not be unreasonably high and reflect the intention of avoiding accounts where the revenue does not cover the Company’s internal costs for maintaining the account and the payout procedure.”

While we would usually view the above term as reasonable as long as not implemented in a fashion that is not simply covering “maintaining the account and the payout procedure”, Affiliate Lounge appear to have widely enforced this term to terminated low turnover accounts, but accounts that it seems likely are still exceeding the levels required to maintain the account.

Program Reputation

Player Issues – The Affiliate Lounge properties are routinely uncooperative with 3rd party dispute mediation services.

For references see –

Affiliate Issues – The Affiliate Lounge group has retroactively enforced new terms and conditions on old affiliates. While these changes were subsequently reverted, this does not change the fact that this policy was put in place and affiliates over a period of 1-2 years were negatively impacted by this unethical behaviour.

Affiliate Lounge also widely enforce a minimum activity clause in a manner that appears to go beyond its stated purpose.

For references see –

Where players are concerned, the Affiliate Lounge properties will not work with 3rd party dispute mediation services which is no good thing. It is fair to say however, given the footprint of the AffiliateLounge group, that the level of complaints is low.

For affiliates there are two significant factors that should be considered before working with AffiliateLounge:

• They have retroactively changed terms before. As much as this was largely reverted later it’s a highly concerning and destabilising business practice and should give any affiliate pause for thought before considering themselves secure.

• They have engaged in what appears to be widespread closure of affiliate accounts due to low activity. The practice of enforcing Minimum Activity clauses essentially handcuffs you as an affiliate to permanent promotion of the operator if you wish to receive the full revenue on your historic referrals.

All in all we just can’t recommend AffiliateLounge to affiliates due to their business practices, which make for a distinctly insecure relationship.
