The 188Bet Affiliate program needs some work however. The terms and conditions offered repeatedly make references like “(as stated in section 3, paragraph 1)”, but there are no numbered sections within the document and the referenced information does not seem to exist within the document.

Alongside this, there are a couple of noteworthy negative terms for affiliates which are summarized below:

• Negative Carryover policies – if your players have a win large enough to create a significant negative balance for you, this creates a situation where you no longer have any incentive to carry on marketing the program’s brands. This leads to a short-term mind set to working relationship between the affiliate and the program.
• Minimum Activity Clause – 188Bet carry a term stating that they will pay commission only to “active” affiliates but fail to define what constitutes “active”. Regardless, minimum activity clauses are dangerous to any right minded affiliates.
